According to the ASPCA, there are between 70 and 80 million dogs and even more cats in the United States. That’s a lot of pets! Along with the joy these animals bring to our lives comes a lot of responsibility. Part of the responsibility of being a pet owner is taking care of your pets’ health. To do that, you must make sure they have proper nutrition, plenty of exercise, and good medical care. Fortunately, there are many caring veterinarians to help you make sure your dogs, cats, and other animals are happy and healthy. However, it may be difficult for you to choose which veterinary practice is right for you. For example, you may wonder about the differences between a veterinary clinic and an animal hospital.

At Clover Vet, we provide complete veterinary services at our full-service animal hospital. You can bring your pet here for routine examinations, microchipping, vaccines, and lab work. But our hospital services are what set us apart from many of our competitors.

Just like a hospital that serves humans, an animal hospital offers a variety of detailed and specialized services and procedures. We offer radiology, routine surgeries, specialized surgeries, ultrasounds, electrocardiograms, and many other advanced services. Your pets can be hospitalized right here at our facility if they require extra care during an illness or injury or following surgery. Intensive care is also available.

As an animal hospital, we also have more veterinarians and support staff to care for our patients. Every member of our team is highly trained. They’re able to deal with the special care situations that arise in a veterinary hospital. We promise that your pet will receive the highest quality of care when they come to Clover Vet. We’re currently accepting new patients from throughout our service area, which includes Fort Mill, Lake Wylie, York, Rock Hill, and all of York County, SC.

Please note that we don’t offer boarding services at our practice. We want to devote all of our energy to the medical care we provide for your pets. Should you need pet boarding, please visit our FAQ page to find local facilities that we recommend.
