Dr. Gretchen Love, Veterinarian & Owner
I live in York, South Carolina, and earned my undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina before receiving my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tuskegee University in 2000.
I have two children, Mary Morgan and J (short for James IV), and in June 2013 I married my husband, Billy Bolin. Together, we also have two wonderful stepdaughters, Kendall and Erin, who have given us several beautiful grandchildren that I absolutely love spending time with.
Our family also includes our sweet pets — my dog, Breeze, who comes to work with me every day, and my two cats, Queen and Ace. If you know me, you probably already know I’m also a huge Gamecock fan!
Outside of veterinary medicine, I love traveling, boating, camping, fishing, hunting, and just about anything that gets me outdoors. I’m known for my high energy and my long conversations with clients and staff — sometimes the team has to come drag me out of the exam rooms!
Caring for animals has always been my passion, and I truly love building relationships with both pets and their owners. I can’t wait to help care for and treat all of your fur babies like they’re part of my own family.
